This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Houston is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Houston follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The only negative is that it’s going to be expensive and most people don’t expect that with Indian food. The food itself is outstanding. The menu is vast and the waitstaff eager to help with questions navigating the latter. Traditional bread / fusion flatbread options are numerous and they have outstanding tools [custom wood burning ovens] to make it in (having bought out the Italian pizzeria which used to occupy a part of the space).

Kiran’s offered up North Indian/ Punjabi cuisine and Indian-french fusion cuisine. We tried out the Indian cuisine this time. The Lucknowi chicken kebab was exquisitely flavored and tender. It was our favorite dish of the day. The pappadums were lightly spiced with chat masala and were accompanied by superb chutneys. We got the punjabi staple of sarson ka saag with makki ki roti. Very nice! We got the butter chicken (excellent) and lamb korma (a little tough meat but good flavor). We had roomali roti (disappointing as it was too thick and did not match our expectations) We finished it off with the gajar halwa dessert which unfortunately was too dry. The service was excellent with Narayan helping us. The ambience was really good too. My wife has a great Malbec to drink.

Fine dining Indian place. I thought of Kiran’s as similar to Mussafir in Houston and Sanjh as well as Jashn in Dallas. It is not the same. The food is okay. Not great. Not much innovation. And even traditional food is, again, β€œokay”. But the price is also a lot lower than then comparisons I mentioned before. Parking - they have a valet. And a paid parking garage in the complex. The drinks were very good. Cocktail list was quite deep and with great choices. Highly recommend the chai old fashioned. Paneer tikka appetizer was quite good as well. Naan pizza was not very good - very doughy. Paneer kadhai entre was bland - needed more spice. Also the chicken biryani was bland - needed more flavors. Service was amazing and ambience was very nice.

This is easily my favorite Indian (with a splash of Texas) restaurant in Houston! There Chefs never disappoint. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and perfectly spicedβ€”every dish feels authentic and made with care. Each visit, we try something different and each dish is prepared with love and care. The service is warm and attentive - Josue was knowledgeable about the food and the drinks. The atmosphere is always cozy yet lively - lighting and decor were both inviting. If you’re craving delicious Indian food in Houston, this place is a must-visit! Food - Beet Salad; Veg Samosas; Lamb Madras; Tandoori Chicken; Kheer Drinks - Moscow Mule; Delhi Glitterati; Masala Chai

Kirans a pretty upscale Indian restraint, this is second time here in years for me, menu is typical of north Indian restrauant, nothing new or inventive here, but what works is the taste, a nice setting, and amazing service. There are many options in the menu, and each dish was well made, flavorful and fresh. Although its a bit pricey given its location but its nevertheless its fine dining as compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. We were highly impressed with the Desserts too after the sumptuous meal. of Daal makhani and Naan. We also had a appetizer ie Chat to start off which came out very good. Overall a good meal and can be revisited because of teh desert. Also, valent parking is an option or park yourself in the mall parking
